The Institute of Mime

Join the Institute of Mime on Saturday mornings, during the fall and spring terms. Prospective students attending the Saturday Morning Institute Program, an 8-week mime program that explores basic and intermediate mime techniques, choreography and arts theology. The classes are prepared by the Directors of Mimeistry, spirit-filled mimes trained in excellence in all fields of the art form.

Students enroll in the Institute of Mime for all eight (8) weeks will receives three (3) units credit for each 8-week term and after completion of two (2) 8-week terms receives a Certificate of Completion in our Awards Ceremony.

The Institute of Mime classes are broken into the following sections:

» Mime Class (9:00am to 12:00pm): Mime Technique, Mime Vocabulary, as well as the production of Mime presentations (choreography) to be shared in the last chapel of the term. In addition, prospective students will work through devotional materials and the theology behind prophetic movement, the use of Art in Church, and a proper understanding of arts in the Bible.

» Praise and Worship Chapel Service (12:10pm to 01:00p.m): A service in which the student can worship spontaneously, move in prophetic songs of the Lord, and creative express what they have learned in the class times.

   Enrollment Information:

» Please designate whether you want to enroll for Full-time Credit, Full-time Audit, or Part-time Audit.

» Full-time Credit: Attend all Saturday classes, complete all homework assignments, and receive three (3) units credit after one (1) term and a Certificate of Completion after two (2) terms.
Full-time Audit: Attend all Saturday classes, homework not required, no units or certificate awarded, same fees as for Full time credit.

Part-time Audit: Homework not required; tuition is $25.00 per Saturday.

Please mail-in the Enrollment Form and $15 Registration Fee as soon as possible, to help us in our count for ordering our books and materials.


Tuition and Registration

The registration fee is $15.00, due with the enrollment form. All audit and credit students must pay the $15 fee, including part-time auditing students.

Full-time Credit & Audit: $170.00 for one 8-week term. A payment plan is available as follows: $70.00 tuition (plus above fees and any applicable book fees) due on the starting date and two (2) installments of $50.00 each due on subsequent dates. Note: Full time students in high school or college may register at half the tuition rate (college students must carry a minimum of 12 units).
Part-time Audit: $25.00 per Saturday. Payments may be arranged with the registrar on or before each attendance day.

Book & Note Fees: Silent Prophet ($8.00) and Mastery of Mimodrame I (DVD & Book = $30)
Visitors: First-time visitors may attend the Institute for $25.00 per Saturday without formally enrolling.
