Theo Williams (Director of Mimeistry, B.DIAC, B.MA, and Master of Mime), travels internationally as a recognized expert in the art of mime, and arts theology. Known for his excellence in performance, directing and choreography, Theo has toured in such places as the Bahamas, Hawaii, Europe, Africa and all across the US. Additionally, Theo brings a vivid and original vision on the arts through his preaching and teaching as Principal Teacher at Mimeistry’s School of Ministering Arts and arts clinician at conferences. Theo has received extensive training in the art of mime from revered professionals, including the world famous Marcel Marceau, who acknowledged Theo as “the Future of Mime”. Theo also has training in Corporeal Mime, Ballet, Jazz, Fencing, Acrobatics, Japanese Swordplay, Drama and Physical Theatre. Theo grew up in South Africa where he received a Shodan (black belt) in the art of Karate and graduated from the University of South Africa (UNISA) in Social Work, with a minor in Psychology. He served as Marriage Counselor and Child Protection Officer in England, before he became involved with Mimeistry in California. Theo is now studying for his Doctorate in Worship Studies at the Robert E. Webber Institute of Worship Studies. Theo has worked with other artists such as Steve Fry, Paul Wilbur, Yvonne Peters, Melea Brock, and Liz Dimmel. He is the Executive Director and Principle Teacher of Mimeistry’s School of Ministering Arts along with his wife, Jolie. As Masters and ordained ministers they travel worldwide, leading troupes, performing and teaching as far as God calls them.

Jolie Williams (B.MA, M.W.S. and Master of Mime), known for her excellence in choreography, storytelling, and strong performance is an Executive Director of Mimeistry and Principle Teacher at Mimeistry’s School of Ministering Arts. At a young age Jolie began pursuing dance in worship and choreographed numbers for her church. Having completed her Masters, Jolie is now studying for her Doctorate in Worship Studies at the Robert E. Webber Institute of Worship Studies in Florida. She brings an informed view on the arts in worship as an educator, speaker and beloved performer. She has a full show of original work, including original music and stories, and is proficient in improvised movement in worship. Jolie been trained by revered mime artists including the legendary Marcel Marceau, who personally invited Jolie to study with him in Paris, France. Experienced with missions, she has attended Youth With a Mission's Discipleship Training School (DTS) and assisted many teams in Mexico, Guatemala and the Philippines. While studying with Mimeistry Jolie met her husband, Theo Williams and they were married in August 2004. Now she and her husband minister as Masters in the art of mime and ordained ministers across the globe. Jolie has worked with other artists such as Steve Fry, Yvonne Peters and Melea Brock. She is recognized internationally as an expert in the art of mime, touring and leading tours to the around the world.
